RETAINER AGREEMENT
Please provide your details below to complete this retainer agreement with Suits Legal Group.
SCOPE OF LEGAL SERVICE
As discussed, the scope of our legal service is that you asked us to file and pursue an arbitration case before the American Arbitration Association acting on your behalf.
Specifically, our legal service is to do the following tasks:
- Providing legal advice
- Drafting and filing the required legal documents
- Performing the discovery to collect evidence
- Conducting settlement and evaluation with the other parties
LEGAL SERVICE FEE
Our fee for the fund recovery action against Shopify is a flat amount of USD 350 (excluding taxes), plus a 8.5% success fee on the total amount of funds recovered. The flat fee of USD 350 serves as a retainer to initiate our work on the case. We will commence legal action immediately upon receipt of the funds recovered.
RETENTION OF FILES
You agree that we may, at our discretion, maintain all or part of your client file in electronic format, except for other materials that cannot be saved electronically. If at any time you request your client file, you agree that delivery to you of an electronic version of your client file satisfies our obligation to release to you all client papers.
NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME
You acknowledge and agree that arbitration proceedings and any related legal processes are subject to factors beyond the Firm's control, including but not limited to decisions of arbitrators, opposing parties' actions, procedural rules, and evidentiary considerations.
Accordingly, the Firm makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee, express or implied, regarding the outcome, success, recovery of funds, timing, or result of the arbitration or any related proceedings.
NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUTCOME
The Firm undertakes to provide legal services on a best-efforts basis only. The Firm shall have no responsibility or liability for the final outcome of the case, including any adverse decision, partial recovery, delay, or failure to recover funds.
The Firm shall not be responsible for acts, omissions, delays, or decisions of arbitrators, arbitration institutions, opposing parties, third parties, or any authority involved in the proceedings.
By signing below, you confirm that you have read and understood all terms of this Retainer Agreement and agree to them as of the date services are first provided. You will receive a fully executed copy of this agreement.
